It's shaping up to be a big year... we have just placed our line of cutting boards with our first local retailer,
(Lillian's Natural MarketPlace) and we're getting ready to release 3 new case designs for the iPad 2, as well as a new line of laptop cases.

2010 ________________________________________

Our brand new iPad case designs go viral... We are featured in the media worldwide, including a review in Wired UK, The New York Times tech blog, Inhabitat.com and scores of other publications. Our iPhone 4 cases release before Christmas shipping with a stand that works perfectly with the case.

2009 ________________________________________

After months of design and development, we released a solid wood box for the iPhone 3G that was met with rave reviews. We were featured on dozens of blogs which brought thousands of hits to our store on Etsy.com. Later in the year, we launched our cases for iPod touch and our website- We revised and expanded on our iPhone Box design to make a fully functional wood case. These were met with a very favorable response, including a feature on G4 Tv's Attack of the Show with Olivia Munn and a feature in the 'Green Accessories' issue of Pregnancy and Newborn Magazine.

2008 ________________________________________

After a year full of custom kitchens with gorgeous, 15 step finishes and dovetailed drawers and pullouts, architectural pillars, and entertainment centers, we develop our first line of cutting boards and wood countertops. Our eBay store opens, and business quickly ramps up- Within months, we are shipping our items to customers all around the world.

Branching out from the trade show display line, we start building custom cabinets and furniture.
2006 ________________________________________

Substrata is founded in Gresham, Oregon- a city just outside of Portland. Our first year, we specialize in building trade show displays for local window companies.
